Who we are

Holly and James are Wessex Walkies. We walk dogs in groups and individually at several locations around Dorset, centred on Blandford Forum.

We are both lifelong dog lovers with extensive experience of many breeds.

We walk in all weathers, at all times of the year. Most of our walks happen in the morning on weekdays (although we can be flexible).

Our favourite haunts include Badbury Rings, Hambledon Hill, Black Hill (Bere Regis), Bere Wood and Wareham Forest.

A safe pair of hands

We know how much dogs mean to their owners - we have our own! We are both trained in canine first aid and are fully insured. Most importantly, we understand doggy behaviour and take no risks with your pride and joy.

All our walks take place at safe locations, well away from main roads. Whilst we're getting to know your dog we will work on recall on a long leash. Once we're friends and they're coming to us reliably, provided the owner is happy, we can offer free running.

We can accomodate:

• Strong or 'pully' dogs
• Group walks or individual
• On lead or off (once familiarised)
